It's a No-No for McKinney
It was a fantastic day for Virginia Beach Marlins starter Barney McKinney and a lousy day for the Casper Ghosts.

The Virginia Beach hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Ghosts, as the Marlins cruised to a 5-0 win. When it was all over, McKinney was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.

"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," McKinney said later.

He rang up 5 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Casper down at Salt Creek Oil Field.

To date in the season, McKinney is 14-6 with no relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .247 average, pitched 151.1 innings, struck out 142 and walked 56 while recording a 4.34 ERA.
