Both teams had their chances, but the Yonkers Yetis eventually prevailed.

Sherman Grasia was a major factor in the 7-6 Yonkers win over New York. The Yetis right fielder went 2-2 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Clint Beck picked up the save for Yonkers, his 1st of the year.

In the top of the third, Grasia had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Owen Harrington that staked the Yetis to a 4-2 lead.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Grasia, "but we got it done."

Yonkers is now riding a 3-game win streak.
