Woods Makes it Official, Will Retire Friday, May 24th, 2041 Clint Woods said he would rather walk away from the game than be forced out of it. At 37 years of age, the Chicago Machine catcher today announced that this season will be his last. "I'm happy to get out with my health still intact and at a young enough age where I can look forward to the rest of my life," Woods said. His lifetime stats show Woods has batted .288 and collected 1434 hits, 180 home runs and 802 RBIs. |
