Davis on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, May 27th, 2041 One of the league's most exciting young players, Cale Davis of the Springfield Stars earned himself Continental League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old left fielder had a lofty .519 average (14-for-27), collecting 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Davis has put up a .305 batting average with 65 hits, 10 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
