Stars Padilla Down with Injury Tuesday, May 24th, 2039 A blow for Arnold Padilla today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a torn meniscus. Padilla suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Springfield Stars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Padilla's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Padilla has worked 17.2 innings with 10 strikeouts en route to a 0-1 record and 8.15 ERA. |
