José Vásquez Offers Wise Advice to James O'Keenan Thursday, May 14th , 2043 José Vásquez may want to look into a career as a life coach after his baseball managing career. The Springfield Stars manager said he recently helped one of his players through a tough time. "James O'Keenan had broken up with his girlfriend and was pretty distraught over it - I just talked to him about it, just was there to talk to," he said. "I think he appreciated having someone to listen and sort through the problems." O'Keenan said his manager's advice was definitely appreciated. "The guys know he's there for us whether it's baseball related or life related," he said. "That's a valuable thing to have in a manager." |
