DTD Injury Puts Slater Out of Lineup Tuesday, May 23rd , 2051 The St. Louis Browns received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place shortstop Rob Slater on the injured list. During yesterday's game against the Chicago Machine, he was injured colliding with a player at a base. The injury, however, is not serious. The St. Louis star performer is listed as day-to-day with back spasms. This season Slater has hit at a .266 clip with 19 RBIs, 7 home runs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 41 games. |
