Miner Shuts Out Montana Friday, May 27th, 2039 The Montana Pandas struggled at the plate today against Knights hurler Zander Miner, who shackled them on 5 hits while hurling a complete game 7-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Pandas skipper Tadamasa Oike in his postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Miner finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," New York manager Brendon McGill said. "Zander made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
