Veteran Serna Hits Three Dingers Wednesday, June 13th, 2035 The San Jose Hawks knocked off the Jersey Shore D-Bags 15-9 today in spite of a fantastic performance by D-Bags designated hitter Miguel Serna, who Serna drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Serna said later. Serna finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 5 runs batted in and 4 runs scored. Miguel Serna struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Wei-liang Zhuan in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Wei-liang Zhuan in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Robinson Alomar in the 9th. This year Serna is hitting .354 with 18 home runs. |
