CowEaters Deal to Stars for Larsen Monday, June 15th, 2037 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Oklahoma CowEaters and Springfield Stars has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send nothing to Springfield in return for 36-year-old SS Brock Larsen. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. Springfield will retain a portion of Larsen's remaining contract. For the season Larsen is currently batting .182 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. In 12 games he has reached base at a .321 rate and scored 7 runs to date. |
