Montana 's Zampieri to Miss Season Friday, June 15th, 2035 Javier Zampieri of the Pandas just might have to call it quits for the season. The 24-year-old Montana reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the St Charles Sheens recently at Crown Royal Stadium. Zampieri suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Pandas medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9-10 months. Here are his stats for this season: Zampieri has chalked up 15 saves and fashioned a record of 4 wins and 6 losses with a 4.62 ERA. He has made 39 relief appearances, thrown 64.1 innings and struck out 67. |
