St. Paul's Walker Injured, Out of Lineup Thursday, June 15th , 2045 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Phoenix Firebirds, Saints starting pitcher Don Walker was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 5 weeks with a strained triceps. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The St. Paul skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This season-to-date, Walker has fashioned a 6-4 mark and 3.66 ERA in 71.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .221 against him and he has logged 120 strikeouts. |
