Houston-Toronto Trade Confirmed Sunday, June 24th, 2035 Today at a press conference the Houston Eagles announced a trade has been completed with the Toronto Timberwolves. The Eagles have shipped 34-year-old RHP Jaime Espinoza to the Timberwolves for 21-year-old minor league SS Tom Richter, 20-year-old minor league CF Zhu-lan King and 24-year-old 3B Tim Workman. Houston will retain a portion of Espinoza's remaining contract. To date, Espinoza has registered a 1-2 won-lost mark, has 26 relief appearances and rung up 14 saves. He has a 1.63 ERA and has allowed 21 hits over his 27.2 innings of work, struck out 35 batters and walked 4. Posting a .286 batting average to date, Workman has 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. |
