Springfield Announces Deal for Veteran 1B Sunday, January 30th, 2039 Tim Abbott might be in the twilight of his career, but he is not going to leave the stage before the final act. Today the 37-year-old scribbled his signature on a $10,500,000-a-year deal with the Stars. Some fans openly questioned the signing, saying they would prefer the club use its resources on younger talent. In his career Abbott has hit .299 with 2398 hits, 354 doubles, 33 triples and 425 home runs. His totals also include 1320 RBIs and 1189 runs scored. |
