Delgado Baffles Daytona Beach Batters Thursday, July 25th , 2047 A masterful pitching performance carried the Fort Worth Cougars to a 2-0 victory over Daytona Beach. Pedro Delgado held the Hurricanes scoreless in a complete-game effort. He permitted 3 hits, had 6 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk. "Delgado was sharp," Hurricanes manager Ray Melanson said later.
