NL's Premier Batter Picked Tuesday, July 1st, 2042 Doug Karg may be much younger than other hitters in the National League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in June to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old New Orleans first baseman hit .353 with 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and 23 runs scored. To date this season Karg is hitting .330 with 21 home runs. |
