Tampa Bay Starter Named CL's Top Pitcher Tuesday, July 1st, 2042 William Stephens's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-0 in June, the 33-year-old Tampa Bay hurler has been named Continental League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 24 in 37.1 innings, logged an ERA of 1.69 and allowed opponents to hit .210 against him. Over the season Stephens has thrown 110.2 innings and dished out 70 strikeouts with a 4-6 mark and a 3.50 ERA. |
