Machine Morgan Blanks Cobras Friday, July 11th, 2036 Chicago Machine starter Chris Morgan really did a number on the Vancouver Cobras today, shutting them out 5-0 on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 5 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," Vancouver manager Eric Grant. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Morgan."
