National League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, August 1st, 2038 Ned Lee's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Denver shortstop has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month Award. During the month he hit .402 with 3 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs. Lee also scored 21 times and drove in 19 runs. This year Lee is hitting .337 with 11 home runs and 43 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .377 clip and scored 37 runs. |
