Barrage of Hits Gets Forrest NL Award Monday, August 1st , 2044 Tom Forrest is respected by most New Orleans Looters fans for his no-frills style of play. The 25-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .435 average (10-for-23) with 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Forrest is swinging the bat at a .299 rate with 113 hits in 378 at-bats. To date he has hit 28 home runs, scored 64 runs and driven in 77. |
