Hitting Streak Still Alive for Garza Sunday, August 3rd, 2036 With 3 hits at The Bayou at Heineken Field today, Pablo Garza added another game to his hitting streak -- the Boston second baseman has now hit safely for 35 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Rebels today, as they fell, 7-6, to the New Orleans Looters. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," New Orleans manager Jorge Yánez said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Pablo Garza singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
