Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Machine Davis Wednesday, August 3rd , 2044 Chicago Machine left fielder Brandon Davis informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a herniated disc. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Davis admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Machine doctors told BNN Davis would not return for one week. Davis's current batting average stands at .243 and he has chalked up 11 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
