Trouble in Columbus, Jones Suffers Setback Thursday, July 30th, 2037 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Columbus Coalition today as they learned that right fielder Buck Jones had suffered a setback in his recovery from back spasms and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is 4 days. This season Jones has hit at a .311 clip and produced 68 RBI, 11 home runs and 55 runs. |
