Ramprasad Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Wednesday, August 16th , 2045 Dave Ramprasad ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Mel Fields, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Orlando Calrissian dropped the game, 14-3, to the Yonkers Yetis. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Ramprasad said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Dave Ramprasad grounded out in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. So far this season Ramprasad is hitting .261 with 11 home runs. |
