Kenny Shaffer Hurt, Out of Action Sunday, September 22nd , 2047 The Gang Green Kenny Shaffer was injured being hit by a pitch during today's game against the St. Louis Browns. The team doctor expects the third baseman to miss 3 weeks with a fractured foot. No roster changes were announced by team officials. Thus far this season Shaffer has hit .263 with 31 home runs, 97 RBIs and scored 69 times. |
