Clark Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Friday, August 11th , 2051 Austin Clark, third baseman for the Seattle Admirals, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 4-2 victory today over the Irvine Gang Green at The Ship Yard today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Austin Clark struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and walked in the 7th. Clark is hitting .346 for the season with 29 home runs, 69 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He has 149 hits in 431 at-bats and played in 109 games. |
