Thompson on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Jersey Shore Monday, September 3rd, 2035 Eric Thompson of the G-Strings was unstoppable in today's 7-5 victory over the Jersey Shore D-Bags at Gibson Guitar Park. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Nashville third baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Eric Thompson doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
