Hitting Streak Still Alive for Harris Monday, September 3rd, 2035 The hitting streak for San Jose first baseman Stan Harris now stands at 20 games, but the Hawks dropped today's contest 11-4 to the St Charles Sheens. Harris went 2-for-4 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 2 hits and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Stan Harris singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. For the year Harris has hit at a .340 clip with 103 RBIs, 22 home runs and 118 runs scored. |
