Recovery Slow For 84's Steve Woods Wednesday, September 18th, 2041 Greenville got some bad news today concerning second baseman Steve Woods. He is recovering from a fractured ankle. Club doctors have extended his time of return to 4-5 months, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed. Steve Woods is expected to undergo surgery in Greenville(South Carolina) tomorrow. This year Woods is batting .281 with 8 home runs. He has scored 30 runs and driven in 27. |
