Roberts Bags CL Best Player Award Monday, September 17th, 2035 It was an extraordinary week for Ryan Roberts of the Nashville G-Strings. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .524, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Continental League. Last week Roberts went 11-for-21, racked up 5 home runs and 12 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Nashville left fielder. This year Roberts has socked 152 hits in 448 at-bats for a .339 average with 45 home runs. He is getting on base at a .459 pace and his totals also include 133 RBIs and 109 runs scored. |
