"We put ourselves in this position," said Firebirds reliever Blake Burgess. "Nobody to blame but us." This is the club's 12th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2033.In total, the Firebirds have missed the playoffs 31 times in their 39-year history. |
