Martín Marino Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, September 22nd, 2035 Martín Marino has to call it a season. The Houston Eagles starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Austin River Sharks and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Marino was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as radial nerve compression and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months. Marino has made 15 starts so far this year and put up a 2-4 won-lost record with a 4.18 ERA. In 64.2 innings he has allowed 61 hits, walked 31 and struck out 46. |
