Hit #2000 for Athletics Garza Friday, August 29th, 2042 Pablo Garza started out as a baby-faced rookie many seasons ago. Yesterday at Agent 47 Field the Philadelphia veteran joined the league's 2000-hit club. Garza achieved that milestone with a 2-for-3 day in the Athletics 5-4 win over the Columbus Coalition. He spoke to reporters in the clubhouse after the game and said, "Looking at the list of all the great players who have done this is humbling. It is a great honor to be among them."
