Maui Clinches Wild Card Thursday, September 22nd , 2044 The Maui Wave are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity. The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and starting pitcher Jesús Núñez said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs. "There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Maui something to be excited about." For now, excitement is running high as the team's 90-61 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 5th Baseball Stars Association championship. |
