Injury Setback for Sheens Meléndez Tuesday, October 12th, 2038 St Charles Sheens left fielder Ernesto Meléndez is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from a broken kneecap and will miss an additional 6 months as a result. Meléndez had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought. This season Meléndez is batting at a .272 clip with 9 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
