Baseball Team Win Round 2 Sunday, October 14th, 2040 The Mexico City Baseball Team are bound for the League Championship Series. A 2-1 win over the Springfield Stars at Pikes' Point Stadium ended the Round 2, 4-1. "We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Thomas English. "This could be the biggest celebration Mexico City has ever seen if we can win the World Series." The state of the Baseball Stars Association championship remains in doubt, but the Baseball Team certainly appear to be strong contenders. English was named MVP of the Round 2 after he posted a .389 batting average, while adding 2 home runs, driving in 3 RBI and scoring 6 runs. The Mexico City Baseball Team will play against the Kansas City Kings in the next round. Kansas City won their series against the Houston Eagles 4 games to 1.
