Kansas City-Montana Trade: Taylor for Smith

Kansas City and Montana have agreed in principle to a trade. The Kings will send 28-year-old LHP César Galván and 31-year-old 1B Douglas Taylor to the Pandas for 22-year-old minor league LF Daniel Smith and 17-year-old minor league RHP Félix Martínez. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete.

Kansas City will retain a portion of Galván's remaining contract.
Kansas City will retain a portion of Taylor's remaining contract.

During his career Taylor has played in 1015 games, batted .300 with 170 home runs and 1227 base hits.
