Continental League Best Pitcher Chosen Monday, November 20th, 2034 The St Charles Sheens have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Ray Gordon, this year's Continental League Scott Hill Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Gordon compiled a 18-4 record in 32 starts, tallied 189 strikeouts in 237.1 innings and recorded a 3.15 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .239 batting average against him. Chris Martin of the Vista Panthers finished second in voting, while Rien Middelkamp of the Springfield Stars finished third. |
