San Francisco Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 16th , 2043 Ray Lau said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the San Francisco Athletics after they missed the Baseball Stars Association playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. San Francisco last appeared in the postseason in 2024. This is their 19th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 37 - year history. |
