Earlier today team personnel announced that the 38-year-old had settled on a $5,800,000-a-year deal to play at Canadian National Field . It's no secret Bates is getting older, but he could still contribute a lot to the franchise. In his career Bates has compiled a .306 batting average and collected 2063 hits, 270 home runs and 1023 RBIs. |
