Seattle Trades Turner for Tampa Bay's Salinas Monday, December 10th, 2040 It has been in the rumor mill for several weeks, but today team officials for Seattle and Tampa Bay confirmed an agreement. The Admirals dealt 25-year-old minor league LHP Craig Hoover, 25-year-old SS River Turner and 26-year-old minor league RHP Jim Crum to the Swarm for 23-year-old 1B Felipe Salinas and 21-year-old minor league 3B Lou Waddell. In his career Turner has played in 183 games with a .206 batting average. Among his 119 hits are 22 doubles, 2 triples and 24 home runs. He also has scored 78 runs and driven in 65 runs. |
