Setback for Coalition and Ken Phillips Wednesday, December 10th , 2042 Ken Phillips, center fielder for the Columbus Coalition, was making great progress in healing a fractured finger according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Ken was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 3-4 weeks before he will be able to rejoin the club." In 1117 career games Phillips is hitting at a .266 pace with 1129 hits with 227 doubles, 56 triples and 183 homers while scoring 682 runs and racking up 639 RBIs. He logged 520 walks and owns a .346 on-base percentage. |
