Week's #1 Player Honored by NL
Monday, May 5th, 2036
24-year-old Brian Wall sent shock waves through Baseball Stars Association last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the National League Player of the Week Award.
A newcomer to the league, Wall made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .400 average, 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs and 8 RBI.
Where the Columbus Coalition left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Wall certainly made his mark last week.
On the season, Wall is batting .276 with 6 home runs and 13 RBIs. He has played in 31 games.
