Boston RP Ron Williams Injured Wednesday, June 4th, 2042 When Ron Williams was hurt against the Jersey Shore D-Bags, the Boston Rebels were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 27-year-old reliever suffered a torn back muscle throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Williams would miss 4-5 months of the season. Taking a look at his season, Williams has made 16 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 2-1 won-lost mark and a 6.14 ERA. In pitching 29.1 innings, he has totaled 20 strikeouts and 8 walks. |
