Chicago Machine Ship Velásquez to San Jose Monday, June 16th, 2036 The Chicago Machine announced a deal with the Hawks today, sending 26-year-old RHP Dustin Velásquez to San Jose for 23-year-old minor league RHP Mathieu Hallé and 18-year-old minor league CF Alejandro Corona. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. So far this season, Velásquez has logged a 3-5 record with a 4.08 ERA. He has started 12 games, hurled 79.1 innings and registered 49 strikeouts and 14 walks. |
