St. Louis-Seattle Trade: García for Clark Tuesday, January 18th, 2039 St. Louis and Seattle made a trade today. In this move, the Browns shipped 28-year-old RHP Alberto García, 29-year-old RHP Gabriel García and 25-year-old RHP Matt Sykes to the Admirals for 24-year-old minor league CF Kade Clark, 19-year-old minor league 3B Arnold Washington and 18-year-old minor league C António Gutiérrez. The St. Louis GM told reporters, "I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players." Over his career García has a 26-35 won-lost record with a 4.64 ERA. In 303 games he has recorded 55 saves, and the 28-year-old has fanned 359 batters in 512.1 innings. |
