Mote Hurls Looters to Shutout Victory Tuesday, June 7th , 2044 In an outstanding mound performance, New Orleans Looters starter Craig Mote fired a complete-game shutout against the Kansas City Kings at The Bayou at Heineken Field today. Mote was the key to the Looters's 4-0 win. The 24-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout." This year Mote has compiled a 7-3 record with a 3.10 ERA in 12 starts.
