Adams Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Houston Saturday, July 5th, 2036 New York catcher David Adams experienced something against the Houston Eagles he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game. The Eagles pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 22 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Knights to a 4-1 victory at Eagles Park. "Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 22-game hitting streak," Adams joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories." In his 2036 season totals, Adams has 15 home runs, .350 BA, .424 OBP, 47 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
