Yonkers Trades Trigueros for St. Louis's Serra Monday, February 21st, 2039 The Yetis and Browns announced a deal that was completed today. Yonkers sent 25-year-old 2B Ben Taylor and 24-year-old RHP Eddie Trigueros to St. Louis for 28-year-old CF Júlio Serra and 21-year-old minor league RHP Sandy Austin. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. St. Louis will retain a portion of Serra's remaining contract. Lifetime Serra is batting .324 with 240 doubles, 71 triples, 25 home runs and 337 RBIs in 949 games. |
