Sheens CF Martínez Out Thursday, April 20th , 2045 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Cervezas de Miami, Sheens center fielder Fabián Martínez was injured making a defensive play and is expected to miss 5 weeks with an elbow sprain. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The St. Charles skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. Martínez is batting .236 this season in 15 games with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 55 at-bats. |
